India. A country so overwhelming and diverse it is impossible to summarise. A storm to the senses in every way possible. Damn hard work at times, but TOTALLY worth it. At the risk of sounding schmaltzy, India captured my heart like none other. The colour, the food, the out of this world landscapes but most of all….the people. Yes – the tourist drag can be annoying as hell, but literally step a couple of streets away into enchanting local neighbourhoods and meet some of the friendliest people that walk this here planet. It was my second trip to India and definitely won’t be my last. It really is one of those places you could visit 100 times and always be dazzled. I spent the first half of this trip with an amazing group of photographers, thanks to the ever imaginative endeavours of the good folks at Field Trip. My Huzzo-to-be, Steve, flew over to spend the remaining 2 weeks with me. The route for 1 month was as follows: Jaipur>Pushkar>Jodhpur>Udaipur>Taj Mahal>Varanasi>Hampi>Goa If you have any questions about the route please feel free to ask!
If you’re even thinking about visiting this magnificent beast of a country, just DO IT.
